Creative Projects and Resources

A look at some of the storytelling projects and resources we have worked on.

Frontline Truths

The following are the truths of the Pacific Climate Warriors - as a people at the frontlines of climate change. These are our stories of how we are bearing witness to climate impacts as well as holding strong to the resilient spirits of our people.

Raise a Paddle

In May 2016, a delegation of Pacific Islanders who are fighting climate change from the front lines of impact, went to one of the dirtiest fossil fuel extraction sites on the planet: the Canadian tar sands. We produced an initial photo shoot to assist with marketing and also gathered stories about the trip.

Walking in Fiji Post-Tropical Cyclone Winston.

On the 20th of February, Tropical Cyclone Winston tore through my beloved Fiji. Eight days later, Fiji Coordinator, George Nacewa, Australian Photojournalist, Jeff Tan, and I, sat with 3 different families from Navoci Village, Korovuto Settlement, and Vatukoula.

Here are their stories of Tropical Cyclone Winston, the strongest tropical cyclone ever recorded in the Southern Hemisphere.

Digital Coverage Tips

For the 2018 Rise for Climate global day of climate action, we produced a video and general tips to assist local campaigners all over the world to be able to report from their event. We wanted to use simple tools and steps so that anyone could feel like they could accomplish this.

Follow the Story

To follow the Beyond the Narrative journey as it shares stories and musings specific to the processes behind building a community of storytellers, feel free to reach out and connect. Let's all become better storytellers and intentionally think about how we can co-create stories, and share our truths, with each other.
